PRECAP’s managing principal represented a developer and partnership of over thirty physicians that built these assets for their independent surgery center and rehab hospital. Five years prior to engaging our team to market the assets for sale, those businesses were sold to Memorial Hermann, a leading healthcare system in the Houston marketplace. Ownership was consulted on obtaining a brand new ten year lease on the surgery center space that increased the value of the portfolio by over $4 million. Buyer was a publicly traded REIT.
